This isn’t your cliché pinkies-up, indoor-voices “wine tasting” experience.
This one-of-a-kind, get wet, canned-wine tour is the ultimate Northern Michigan adventure.
With a scenic view of Grand Traverse Bay, Leelanau Wine Cellars is a top destination for any wine-lover. For kayaking, Omena Bay is protected from the open water of Lake Michigan by a four-mile long peninsula of sandy shores and wooded shoreline, creating an ideal place for a pristine water experience.
Tour Timeline:
Participants meet downtown for a quick bus ride on the TC Brew Bus to Leelanau Cellars. Upon arrival, your single or tandem kayak awaits. Wave leaders will guide you as you explore the changing moods and depths of Omena Bay, known for tropical blue, crystal-clear water.
All guests receive an adventure pack and will enjoy a private waters-edge tasting with an entertaining Tasting Room Team Member. Additional wine tastings and tour-exclusive discounts will be available in the Tasting Room before climbing aboard the TC Brew Bus to head back to Traverse City.
Morning Tour:
10:30am – 2:00pm
10:30 – All aboard the Brew Bus!
11:15 – Arrive at Leelanau Cellars
11:30-1:00 – Wine tasting and kayaking
1:15 – Hop on the Brew Bus to head back to Traverse City
2:00 – Drop off in Traverse City
Afternoon Tour:
3:00pm – 6:30pm
3:00 – All aboard the Brew Bus!
3:45 – Arrive at Leelanau Cellars
4:00-5:30 – Wine tasting and kayaking
5:45 – Hop on the Brew Bus to head back to Traverse City
6:30 – Drop off in Traverse City
